Bush decides to name Baker new Japan envoy
WASHINGTON, United States - File photo shows Howard Baker, former Republican Senate majority leader and White House Chief of Staff, whom U.S. President George W. Bush has decided to appoint as ambassador to Japan. The White House will announce the nomination possibly next week, diplomatic sources said.
