Universal Studios Japan ready for launch

OSAKA, Japan - Fireworks are set off March 30 on the eve of the official opening of Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in Osaka on March 31. Staff looked confident the first Hollywood movie theme park outside the United States is ready for business. The park features 18 rides and attractions designed to take visitors inside such popular Hollywood movies as ''Jurassic Park,'' ''Back to the Future,'' ''E.T.'' and ''Jaws.''
