Pfizer to donate antifungal drug to 5 southern Africa nations

NEW YORK, United States - Pfizer Inc. Chief Executive Hank McKinnell announces at a news conference at the United Nations headquarters June 6 the company will donate its antifungal drug Diflucan to AIDS patients in five southern African countries in a program that it said would eventually benefit 50 poor countries suffering from the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
