Estrada refuses to enter plea in perjury case

MANILA, Philippines - Ousted Philippine President Joseph Estrada (C) sits in a special anti-graft court June 27 in Manila. Estrada refused to enter a plea during his arraignment for perjury, prompting the court to enter a plea of not guilty on his behalf. His lawyer told the justices that the charge has not been clarified and information submitted by prosecutors is confusing.
