Japan gov't told to compensate Chinese for forced labor
TOKYO, Japan - Liu Huanxin holds the photo of his diseased father Liu Lianren, who was forcibly brought to Japan to perform labor during World War II, at a news conference in Tokyo on July 12. The Tokyo District Court ordered the Japanese government to pay 20 million yen in compensation to the Liu family.
