Ashes of WWII Korean slave laborer returned to daughter
IIZUKA, Japan - Mum Pok Ye (front) from South Korea's Chollabukto Province, breaks into tears July 17 in front of a photo of her father, who died in Japan during World War II while toiling at a coal mine in Fukuoka Prefecture as a slave laborer. Mum received the ashes of her father, Mum Kyu Byong, at a ceremony in Iizuka in the prefecture.
