G-8, U.N. agree to set up global health fund
GENOA, Italy - Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi (L) announces the establishment of a global fund to combat infectious diseases in a ceremony in Genoa on July 20. Leaders of the Group of Eight (G-8) countries and U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan agreed on the fund.
