eBank launches operations as Japan's 3rd online bank

TOKYO, Japan - Taiichi Matsuo (sitting), president of eBank Corp., and some 50 of the bank's employees celebrate the beginning of business in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward on July 23. The bank, set up by about 40 companies, including Japan Telecom Co. and trading house Itochu Corp, launched operations as the nation's third Internet-based online bank.
