FARC leader admits guerrillas holding Japanese hostage

LOS POZOS, Colombia - A female member of the the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) checks a car at an entrance to the FARC-controlled area on Aug. 13. The leftist guerrilla group leader, who asked for anonymity, said in an exclusive interview with Kyodo News that FARC is holding Chikao Muramatsu, 52, vice president of a local joint venture of Japanese auto-parts maker Yazaki Corp., who was kidnapped in February.
