China's Jiang, Japanese lawmakers meet over mending ties
BEIJING, China - Chinese President Jiang Zemin holds talks with Yoshiro Hayashi (L), former Japanese finance minister, at the People's Great Hall in Beijing on Sept. 13. Hayashi, who heads a delegation of eight Japanese lawmakers, is the first Japanese politician to meet Jiang since Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's controversial visit last month to a Tokyo shrine.
