Yakult ends skid to clinch 6th Central League pennant

TOKYO, Japan - The Yakult Swallows ended a four-game winless streak to finally clinch their sixth Central League pennant and first in four years with a 6-4 extra-inning victory over the Yokohama BayStars at Yokohama Stadium on Oct. 6. Yakult manager Tsutomu Wakamatsu is being tossed shoulder-high into the air.
