Bidding prices for beef return to normal levels in Tokyo

TOKYO, Japan - The beef from 198 cows slaughtered on Oct. 10 is auctioned at Tokyo's central wholesale market on Oct. 19 following the government's declaration that all domestic beef is free of mad cow disease. The day's bidding prices for beef returned to the level seen before the disease hit Japan last month.
