EU asks Japan to promote competition in telecom market

TOKYO, Oct. 23 Kyodo - Shinichi Kitajima (L), Director-General of the Japanese Foreign Ministry's Economic Bureau, and Fernando Valenzuela, Deputy Director-General for External Relations of the European Commission, shake hands at the Foreign Ministry on Oct. 23 after swapping notes listing each other's deregulation demand.
