TOKYO, Japan - Foreign Minister Makiko Tanaka answers opposition questions at a House of Representatives committee session Nov. 7, 2001. She indicated she may give up her to plan to attend a U.N. General Assembly session and talks with her Group of Eight (G-8) counterparts following a Diet decision that requires her presence during deliberations on a supplementary budget bill.
