No. 1 draft pick Terahara to join Daiei Hawks

NICHINAN, Japan - Hayato Terahara, the Daiei Hawks' top draft pick, fields questions from reporters Nov. 26 in Nichinan, Miyazaki Prefecture, after deciding to join the Pacific League club. Daiei won the right to negotiate with Terahara, the most sought-after player, in the Nov. 19 amateur draft.
