Yakult's Ishii to try his hand in the majors

TOKYO, Japan - Yakult Swallows left-hander Kazuhisa Ishii speaks at a press conference in the baseball club office in Tokyo on Dec. 27 about his hope to play in the major leagues via the posting system for the 2002 season. Yakult said it will soon let the major league clubs know through the Japanese commissioner's office that they can negotiate with Ishii.
