Takenaka suggests lowering of minimum taxable income threshold

TOKYO, Japan - Heizo Takenaka, state minister in charge of economic and fiscal policy, responds to questions during a recent interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo. Takenaka has indicated that the government's key economic-policy panel may propose lowering the minimum taxable income threshold as part of its comprehensive tax reform.
