Dollar rises above 133 yen to hit 39-month high in Tokyo
TOKYO, Japan - An electric sign board at a money broker in Tokyo's Nihombashi district shows the U.S. dollar trading above the 133 yen line temporarily on Jan. 9. The U.S. currency rose above 133 yen to hit a 39-month high against the yen on comments by a Japanese government official in favor of a weaker yen.
