Ishii elated at Dodgers' winning bid

HONOLULU, United States - Left-hander Kazuhisa Ishii, receiving news that the Los Angeles Dodgers won the right to negotiate a deal with him, speaks to reporters in Honolulu on Jan. 9. ''The Dodgers are of course the club I hope to play for. I'm so glad they made the highest offer,'' said Ishii, who heard the news while playing in a pro-am event of the Sony Open golf tournament in Hawaii.
