Nagoya station complex wins Guinness entry as largest

NAGOYA, Japan - The ''JR Central Towers'' building complex at JR Nagoya station (in an undated file photo) has entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest facility built over a railway station, Central Japan Railway Co. (JR Tokai) said Feb. 27. The complex, consisting of two high-rise buildings 51 stories and 53 stories high respectively, is 245 meters tall with a total floor space of 410,000 square meters. It houses restaurants and offices as well as a department store and a 780-room hotel.
