2 GSDF helicopters crash in Oita, killing all 4 crew

OITA, Japan - Members of a Grand Self-Defense Force investigative team on March 8 examine the wreckage of a GSDF helicopter that crashed into Mt. Haneyama in the town of Kokonoe, Oita Prefecture on March 7 after colliding with another GSDF helicopter in midair during night training. All four crew members aboard the two choppers were killed.
