Citizens' suit against Rokkasho uranium plant dismissed

AOMORI, Japan - Local citizens carry a banner protesting a uranium enrichment plant in the village of Rokkasho. They were headed for the Aomori District Court in Aomori on March 15 to hear a ruling on their demand that the government revoke an approval for the plant on safety grounds. The court dismissed their demand.
