Kawaguchi visits war memorial in Okinawa

ITOMAN, Japan - Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi (2nd from L) on March 16 visits the Cornerstone of Peace, a war memorial in Itoman on Okinawa Island dedicated to more than 200,000 people killed in the 1945 Battle of Okinawa. Kawaguchi arrived in Okinawa earlier in the day on a one-day trip.
