Sony unveils prototype of biped entertainment robot

TOKYO, Japan - Sony Corp. on March 19 introduces the prototype of a small biped entertainment robot, the ''SDR-4X'' featuring advanced walking and sound recognition functions. The robot can sing, dance and automatically right itself when it falls over. First two photos (upper L, C) show the robot being knocked over, and the remaining four (upper R, bottom row) show the robot getting back up.
