Sakakibara to succeed Hirai as Toray president

TOKYO, Japan - Sadayuki Sakakibara (R), executive vice president of Toray Industries Inc., gives a news conference at a Tokyo hotel April 1 with President Katsuhiko Hirai. Sakakibara, 59, will succeed Hirai, 62, following a shareholders meeting in June. Hirai will become vice chairman.
