GM signs deal to take over S. Korea's Daewoo Motor

SEOUL, South Korea - Union members of South Korea's Daewoo Motor Co. hold a rally at a hotel in Seoul on April 30 to protest General Motors Corp.'s (GM) takeover of Daewoo Motor. GM, Daewoo and Daewoo's chief bank, the Korea Development Bank, signed the takeover deal the same day.
