2,000 firms hold shareholders' meetings

TOKYO, Japan - Shareholders of Snow Brand Milk Products Co. enter a building in Sapporo's Chuo Ward on June 27 to attend the company's shareholders' meeting. Some 2,020 companies in Japan held shareholders' meetings the same day. The shareholders' meeting were those of listed and unlisted firms whose 2001 business year ended March 31 this year.
