2 ships leave Kitakyushu for salvage work on sunken vessel
KITAKYUSHU, Japan - The 2,474-ton Koyo Maru (foreground) and the 493-ton support ship Wakashio Maru leave Moji port in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, on July 4 to salvage a suspected North Korean spy ship which sank in the East China Sea after a shoot-out with Japan coast guard patrol boats last December.
