Japan's safety commission chief visits 'Ground Zero'
NEW YORK, The United States - Jin Murai (L), Japan's National Public Safety Commission chairman, on Aug. 3 shakes hands with David Cohen, deputy commissioner of the New York Police Department, near the site of the World Trade Center buildings that were destroyed in the Sept. 11 terror attacks. Murai, a state minister and a Diet member who was briefed about the site, said, ''Seeing is indeed believing...it could happen anywhere else.''
