U.S. adviser Hubbard supports Japan's tax cut plan

TOKYO, Japan - U.S. economic adviser Glenn Hubbard (R) is in talks with Japanese Finance Minister Masajuro Shiokawa at the Finance Ministry on Sept. 12. Hubbard, chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, told Shiokawa he supports Japan's plan to carry out tax cuts to boost its economy.
