S. Korea welcomes progress made at Japan-N. Korea summit
SEOUL, South Korea - A Seoul citizen reads a newspaper reporting the summit talks between Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and North Korean leader Kim Jong Il in Pyongyang on Sept. 17. The South Korean government welcomed the results of the talks, saying ''We (South Korea) welcome that progress has been achieved on a range of issues pending between North Korea and Japan.''
