Shimadzu to set up institute in Nobel laureate Tanaka's name

KYOTO, Japan - Hidetoshi Yajima (L), president of Shimadzu Corp., shakes hands Oct. 15 with company engineer Koichi Tanaka, who won the 2002 Nobel Prize for Chemistry, at the company's head office in Kyoto's Nakagyo Ward.
