PYONGYANG, North Korea, Oct. 4 Kyodo - Photo taken at a hotel in Pyongyang in July 2006 shows Kim Young Nam, a South Korean abductee who is believed to have married Japanese abductee Megumi Yokota in 1986, holding a photo in which he is pictured with Yokota and their daughter Kim Eun Gyong or Kim Hye Gyong as she is known in Japan.Yokota was abducted by North Korea in 1977 at age 13 while Kim is believed to have been abducted in 1978.

OBAMA, Japan - Former abductees Yasushi Chimura (R), his wife Fukie (L) and their daughter and two sons are welcomed by people in Obama, Fukui Prefecture, on May 24. The daughter and sons came to Japan from Pyongyang to be reunited with their parents as a result of talks May 22 between Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and North Korean leader Kim Jong Il.

Abductees' kin leave for Geneva to attend U.N. session

TOKYO, Japan - Shigeo Iizuka (L) and Sakie Yokota, whose family members were abducted to North Korea in late 1970s, leave Narita airport on April 20 to attend a meeting of the U.N. Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances in Geneva to resolve the abduction issue. Iizuka's sister Yaeko Taguchi was lured by North Korean agents from Miyazaki Prefecture at the age of 22 in 1978, while Yokota's daughter Megumi was abducted from Niigata Prefecture in 1977 at the age of 13.

Hasuike begins job at welfare facility
