New head of scandal-hit USJ vows to fix 'shortcomings'

OSAKA, Japan - Shin Sasaki, new president of USJ Co., operator of the Hollywood-style movie theme park Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in Osaka, speaks at a press conference in Osaka's Konohana Ward on Oct. 23. Sasaki pledged to fix ''shortcomings'' in the company in the wake of declining popularity caused by a series of scandals.
