2 major trading houses announce integration agreement

TOKYO, Japan - Hidetoshi Nishimura (L), president of Nissho Iwai Corp., and Toru Hanbayashi, president of Nichimen Corp., shake hands at a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 11. They announced that the two trading companies have agreed to set up a holding company next April to integrate their management.
