Japan's jobless rate drops to 5.3% in Nov.
TOKYO, Japan - People seek jobs at a public job placement office in Tokyo's Shinjuku district on Dec. 27. The government said the same day that Japan's seasonally adjusted jobless rate eased to 5.3% in November from a record high of 5.5% the previous month, as fewer people left their jobs over worries they would not get another in a weak economy.
