Doyukai's Kitashiro wants to create jobs, nurture start-ups

TOKYO, Dec. 26 Kyodo - Kakutaro Kitashiro (R), who is to become the head of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai), speaks to reporters in Tokyo on Dec. 26 with Yotaro Kobayashi, the current Doyukai chairman, looking on. Kitashiro, chairman of IBM Japan Ltd., will be the first executive from a foreign-owned company to head a major Japanese business lobby.
