Russia ready to help Japan resolve abductions by N. Korea
MOSCOW, Russia - Alexander Losyukov, Russia's vice foreign minister in charge of Asia-Pacific affairs, meets the press Jan. 5 in Moscow ahead of Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's four-day visit to Russia beginning Jan. 7. He said Russia is prepared to help Japan resolve issues related to North Korea's abductions of Japanese nationals.
