Hard-boiled fiction writer Ikushima dies at 70
TOKYO, Japan - Jiro Ikushima (file photo taken in November, 1993), one of the pioneers of hard-boiled fiction writing in Japan, died on March 2 of pneumonia at a Tokyo hospital, his family said. He was 70.
