Japanese journalist held in Jordan after airport blast
TOKYO, Japan - Mainichi Shimbun newspaper spokesman Tatsuaki Hashimoto (R) holds a news conference at the paper's head office May 2 in Tokyo after Jordanian authorities detained a Japanese journalist May 1. A ''souvenir'' the journalist allegedly took from Iraq exploded at Amman airport, killing an airport security guard and injuring three others.
