Nissan to launch 5 new model cars in Mexico by early 2004

MEXICO CITY, Mexico - Nissan Motor Co. will launch five new model cars in Mexico by early next year in an effort to maintain its share in the local market. Nissan officials said May 29 the five models will include the sport-utility vehicles Murano (photo) and Pathfinder Armada, and the pick-up truck Titan.

      YOKOHAMA, Japan - Nissan Motor Co. President Carlos Ghosn speaks at a press conference in Yokohama on Sept. 2, where the company unveiled six new models scheduled to hit the Japanese market by mid-January in 2005. The six models are the Murano crossover sport utility vehicle, the Tiida compact hatchback, the Fuga luxury sedan, the Tiida Latio compact sedan, the Lafesta minivan and the Note compact hatchback.

          TOKYO, Japan - Handout photo shows the Paladin sport-utility vehicle which Nissan Motor Co. has begun producing in Zhengzhou, China. Nissan said Feb. 28 that Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co. will start selling the vehicle March 29. The Paladin will come in two models -- the 2.4-liter XE grade and the 3.3-liter SE grade.
