Elpida Memory to raise 81.5 bil. yen for capital spending

TOKYO, Japan - Yukio Sakamoto (R), president of Elpida Memory Inc., Japan's sole domestic producer of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) chips, speaks at a press conference in Tokyo on June 5 about the company's plan to raise 81.5 billion yen for raising its DRAM manufacturing capacity.
