Work on new school begins after heritage building row

OTSU, Japan - Construction work on a new school begins June 16 in Toyosato, Shiga Prefecture following a dispute over whether to tear down a historic school building designed by U.S. architect William Merrell Vories. It is still undecided what will become of the old school.
