LDP reprimands Ota for calling gang rapists 'virile'
TOKYO, Japan - Seiichi Ota, a House of Representatives member from the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), is surrounded by reporters at the Diet in Tokyo on June 27 after being reprimanded by LDP Secretary General Taku Yamasaki for suggesting gang rape could be tolerated because it ''shows'' rapists are ''virile'' and ''close to normal.''
