Diamond Princess begins trial run

NAGASAKI, Japan - The 113,000-ton luxury liner Diamond Princess, built for Princess Cruises by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, sets sail on a trial run from Nagasaki port on Aug. 15 as citizens watch. Completion of the 14-deck vessel vessel was delayed after it caught fire while under construction at MHI's Nagasaki shipyard in October 2002.
