Fujii announces he will run in LDP presidential race

TOKYO, Japan - Takao Fujii (file photo), a House of Representatives lawmaker of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party's Hashimoto faction and a former transport minister, formally announces Aug. 20 he will run in the LDP's presidential election on Sept. 20.
