Abductees' kin call on gov't to be rigid on Mangyongbong-92

TOKYO, Japan - Shigeru Yokota (C), the father of Megumi Yokota who was abducted in 1977 at age 13 to North Korea, hands a petition to transport minister Chikage Ogi (L) on Aug. 22, calling for strict port state checks on north Korean passenger-cargo ship Mangyongbong-92, scheduled to call at Niigata port on Aug. 25.
