Father of N.Y. Yankees' Matsui discusses singing debut

TOKYO, Japan - Masao Matsui, father of New York Yankees outfielder Hideki Matsui, holds up a newspaper reporting his son's three-run homer in Game 2 of the World Series against Florida Marlins at Nippon Cultural Broadcasting Inc. (Bunka Hoso) in Tokyo on Oct. 20, with singer Kaori Kozai beside him. Matsui senior will release his debut ''enka'' Japanese ballad ''Yukizuri Monogatari'' (Tale of a Passing Romance) on Nov. 19 in a duet with Kozai.
