(2)Protesters demonstrate against SDF dispatch to Iraq

KOMAKI, Japan - Citizens protest the dispatch of Japanese Self-Defense Forces (SDF) troops to Iraq in front of the main gate of the Air Self-Defense Force base at Komaki, Aichi Prefecture, on Dec. 24. A send-off ceremony was held at the base the same day for the first unit of noncombat troop deployment.
