Woman in wheelchair sues Osaka over refusal to let her on buses

OSAKA, Japan - Fatihi Manami Amina, a wheelchair-bound woman, meets the press in Osaka on Feb. 2 after suing the Osaka city government for 2 million yen in compensation. She said she had been prevented from getting on city-operated buses and hurt by verbal abuse from bus drivers. The woman is a Japanese national who has converted to Islam and uses an Islamic name.
